Hello and thanks for stopping by! My name is Usha and I’m the creative behind ‘Create with Usha’. I’m so glad that you decided to stop by and take a bit of your time to read about me and what this blog can do for you!
A little about me.
Most days you can find me…cuddling my son, drinking a hot cup of coffee, memory keeping of all sorts but mostly in my planner, lettering with my Tombow pens, watching great TV shows (My favourite shows are Jane The Virgin, Survivor and Game of Thrones), reading a good book, in deep conversation about life with my husband or trying out new recipes.
I am mostly known for…prioritizing me time, memory keeping (with my pens and crafting supplies), living my best life, my love of colour and being positive and optimistic.
People often refer to me as…a mom, a creative person, a pen fanatic, a lover of life and crafter.
I love serving the world by…using my creativity and inspiration to share my art and motivate others to make everyday life look beautiful – mostly through my memory planner!
The things I’m most passionate in life are…my son, the love of my life (my husband), me, creativity, family and creating memories from everyday life (and documenting it)!
When I’m not busy being a mom you can catch me…lettering, being crafty, memory keeping, reading a good book, listening to an inspiring podcast, taking a walk in nature, watching a good TV show or in deep conversation about life.
As a creative I’ve been honoured to…have my work shared on PaperMate and TombowUSA’s social media channels.
So, why read my blog and how will it help you?
My purpose is to use my creativity and inspiration to share my art and motivate others to make everyday life look beautiful. I do this through documenting my life through memory keeping in my memory planner. I believe I can add value to the world by sharing my creativity and inspiration for art to make everyday life look beautiful.
You can expect content related to making everyday life look beautiful in a memory planner. Whether that is sharing tips and tricks on how to create a page spread, how to memory keep or what my favourite supplies are – are just a few ideas.
Who is this blog for?
If you love to craft and create and you want to make everyday life look beautiful by memory keeping, then this blog is the right place for you!
Does my blog have credibility?
When I started on this creative journey, I started with learning hand lettering. Little did I know that I would be walking into a much larger creative community that is filled with so much goodness! That’s when I discovered my true purpose and calling – to use my creativity and inspiration to share my art and motivate others to make everyday life look beautiful. One of the ways I do this is by memory keeping – of all sorts!
When I’ve reflected on this journey, I didn’t realize that I started memory keeping my everyday life when my son was born. I wanted to remember all of the everyday little moments that make the bigger parts of life so beautiful. That’s when I started adding bullet points of what I did to my weekly planner spreads. I then added more and more to this practise resulting in what I love to do today. I love to memory keep in a planner and I truly believe that I can add value to your life by showing you how to keep memories of everyday life using a memory planner. I love to practise daily gratitude, journal and even keep a one sentence a day journal of my son too!
